Only the tutor assigned to a session — or an admin — can click Start. This is because starting the session is what triggers the connection to your virtual classroom (for example, the Zoom API call); it's tied to the assigned tutor's login.

If you're having technical trouble and can't start your own session, you can't simply hand it off to another tutor to start on your behalf. Reach out to your admin — they'll be able to start it or help you troubleshoot.
