Alongside your own feedback form, a session can generate up to three AI-based outputs from the session recording or transcript:

  • AI session summary — a written recap of what happened in the session.
  • AI-generated quiz — a short quiz based on what was covered, for the student to test their understanding.
  • AI revision notes — condensed notes for the student to study from afterward.

These are separate from the feedback you write yourself, and they're generated automatically — there's nothing you need to do to produce them.

Who can see them is controlled by your institute: visibility can be set to admin-only, admin and tutor, or all roles including the student. If your institute has scoped this to tutors, it's worth knowing you can use the AI summary as a personal memory aid — a quick way to recall what you covered with a student without relying on your own notes, especially useful if you're teaching a heavy daily session load. If you don't see these outputs on a session card, either your institute hasn't enabled them, or your role isn't included in the visibility settings — check with your admin.

Recording itself is opt-in at the institute level, not forced — some institutes (for example, ones handling sensitive or confidential sessions) choose not to record at all, in which case none of these AI outputs will be generated since they depend on having a recording or transcript to work from.
