A session can carry a private note, visible only to admins and instructors — never to the student or parent. Either you or your admin can add one, typically to leave context ahead of the session (for example, a reminder about what to cover, or a heads-up about the student).

This is different from the private note you can add to a learner's profile, which lives with that learner across all their sessions rather than on a single one.
