Where to find this: Settings → Leaderboard & Gamification; shows to students on a Group course's Leaderboard tab (5.7)

A single institute-wide toggle turns on competitive ranking across every Group course, showing both a past-7-days and an all-time view. Students earn points for: attending a live session, staying at least 20 minutes into a live session, watching a video, voting on polls and quizzes, submitting homework, attempting a test (regardless of score), and commenting on a discussion. An "Include marks in tests/homework" toggle folds actual academic performance into the point total as well, not just participation. Students then progress through 10 customizable Levels with their own titles and point thresholds.
