The Leaderboard tab shows Past 7 days and All time rankings, refreshed on a visible cadence (e.g. "Last updated ... Next update in 13 hours"), with a "How do points work?" link. With no real learners yet it shows placeholder "Sample Student" rows and an "Add learners!" prompt. The scoring rules themselves are institute-wide — see 10.1 for the full points breakdown.
