Clicking + Add from Users opens a modal with four paths:

  • Learner/Parent — add a single student (and optionally their parent) without yet enrolling them in anything.
  • Tutor — add a single instructor.
  • Admin — add another admin to your institute.
  • Multiple Learners — bulk-add via CSV, for onboarding a batch of students at once.

Adding someone this way creates their account and sends them their welcome/login email (the content of that email is configurable — see 12.2), but doesn't enroll them in a course or set up any billing. A learner added here can be reused later from any course's own "Select Existing" enrollment step, both for 1:1 (4.1) and Group (5.3–5.4) courses.
