Where to find this: left menu → 1:1 Courses → Add
From 1:1 Courses, clicking Add (then New 1:1 course / Blank template) opens a single wizard that creates the learner, the course, the schedule, and the billing all in one pass:
- Add Learner/Parent — "New Learner" or "Select Existing" tabs. On New Learner: Learner Name (required) and Learner Email (optional) up front, plus "Add phone" and "Add tags" buttons. Two collapsible sub-sections sit below that: Registration details (skippable — "let the learner fill it after they enroll" — and pre-populated with whatever fields the institute's Registration Form Settings define, e.g. Address and Age), and Parent details (Select Existing or enter a new Parent name / email). An admin-only Private Note field ("not visible to the learner or parent") is also here.
- Select Tutor — assign the instructor for this course. Each tutor in the list shows either a "+ Add Payout" pill (no course-specific rate set) or their existing rate as a pill (e.g. "$90 / credit," editable via a pencil icon). Clicking it opens Edit Payout for Course: a Payout Amount per Session Credit (with currency) and an Apply Payout to Sessions choice of Only Future Sessions or All Past & Future Sessions, with a live preview line ("Tutor will be paid $X for each session credit consumed"). Leaving this unset means the tutor's default payout rate applies instead.
- Schedule sessions — set up the recurring or one-off session times, governed by the booking rules in 8.1–8.2. Can be skipped and set up later.
- Setup Billing Plan — pick a plan type and fill in its terms (see 4.2, and 9.1 for the institute-wide payment setup behind it).
- Course Settings — final course-level configuration before enrollment; same options as the course's own Settings tab post-creation (4.3).
Each step can also be skipped ("Skip this step" / "Skip and Enroll Learner"), so a course can be created with the learner and tutor set but scheduling and billing left for later. The wizard ends with an Enroll Learner button once all steps are filled or skipped. Submitting it creates the course and, if a billing plan was set up, generates the first invoice immediately, not on a delay.
