Attendance is matched by display name, not by account. If someone joins a live session from a browser rather than the Zoom app, they can type any display name they like — and if it doesn't exactly match their name on the platform, Wise logs them as a new, unmatched ("outsider") participant instead of recognizing their enrollment.

Two fixes: have the person join via the native Zoom app (which auto-matches), or make sure whatever name they type into the browser's join screen exactly matches their platform name.
