Where to find this: Settings → Sessions Settings → Providers → Session Provider

Every course runs its live sessions through one of these providers. Here's how to choose yours:

  • Default Zoom, managed by Wise — nothing to set up, ready from day one. See 16.1.
  • Your own Zoom, integrated — your account manager connects your own Zoom account. See 16.3.
  • In-person sessions (no virtual classroom) — expected, not a missing feature, if your plan is in-person. See 16.2.
  • Pencil Spaces (native integration) — connect with just an API key. See 16.4.
  • Lessonspace (native integration) — same API-key setup as Pencil Spaces. See 16.4.
  • Google Meet or any other third-party virtual classroom software (pasted link, no native integration) — see 16.5.

See Section 16 for how a session actually runs, and what's automated, under each option.

Where to find this: Settings → Sessions Settings → Recording Settings

With your provider set, here's how recording behaves by default:

Automatic Recording turns on recording for every session by default, with a separate option controlling whether tutors are allowed to stop it manually. Sharing Automation auto-shares the recording link in the course portal as soon as a session ends, and View Options sets whether saved recordings default to Gallery View or Active Speaker.

Decide this before you run real sessions, not after: recordings that weren't captured can't be recreated.
